Menary founded to empower women
Menary is an ethical cosmetic brand that developed Japan’s first 100% plastic-free lipstick. The founder, Mai Kishino, used to work at a hotel in Singapore. She saw discrimination against women in Singapore and South India, which inspired her to launch this brand to empower women. She aims to create a society where women can live confidently and positively through ethical cosmetics. Therefore, Menary uses a part of the profits to fund support for women in Japan.
At the same time, Menary’s lipstick is Muslim-friendly because Kishino realized that devout Muslims have limited makeup options due to their religious discipline.
Menary’s beautiful red rouge represents confident and strong women. There currently is only one item available from Menary, but we look forward to seeing this exciting brand offer more in the future!
